We would say it all started one fateful Saturday night at Oregon Country Fair. We had dated on and off the year before but the magic happened this night. Leah was fresh back in the country from Cuba and working as a day volunteer for OCF. Leah met Aaron at main stage on a whim and went back to the infamous tiki party. Next thing Leah knew, she had a wristband, a tent and a mad dash to park her car. This is the exact photo from said tiki party minutes before. The next hours were a blur of walking through dimly lit wooded pathways and laughing till the sun came up. We had no idea that that one Saturday night could change the course of my entire life and community.

We spent the next few years exploring the world and doing some seriously mischievous things at Burning Man. We found we shared a very similar sense of humor and whit and crave beautiful experiences that we want to share with those we love.

Traveling through Vietnam together was one of the best experiences we had together. We tested our patience, sense of direction and learned a lot about ourselves and each other through traveling across the globe.

At some point, Leah decided it was cute to dress the same and Aaron grumbled about it while secretly agreeing.

The Pandemic was hard, but we weathered it with good pod-friends, humor, and the occasional socially distanced outing.

We got better at coordinating our outfits.

From Barcelona to Burning Man we perfected traveling together. Finding a united love for distant places, new experiences, and building ephemeral cities.

Aaron proposed at Niagara Falls and the rest of the story is still untold.
